Stay Fit on Vacation: Hotel Gym & Room-Friendly Workout
Heading out on vacation doesn’t mean hitting pause on your fitness goals. Whether you’ve got access to a hotel gym or just your hotel room, you can still stay on track with simple, effective workouts that require minimal equipment. This quick routine is designed to help you keep your energy up, feel strong, and enjoy your trip without the guilt of skipping workouts.
Quick Warm-Up (3 minutes)
Arm circles (30 sec forward, 30 sec back)
Bodyweight squats × 10
Standing knee hugs × 10/side
Jumping jacks × 30 sec
🏋️ Hotel Gym Version (30 min)
Circuit (repeat 3x, rest 60 sec after each round):
Goblet Squats (dumbbell) – 12–15 reps
Dumbbell Chest Press (on bench or floor) – 12 reps
Dumbbell Romanian Deadlift – 12–15 reps
One-Arm Dumbbell Row – 12 reps/side
Dumbbell Shoulder Press – 10–12 reps
Plank with Shoulder Taps – 30–40 sec
🏠 Hotel Room / No Equipment Version (20–25 min)
Circuit (repeat 3–4x, rest 45 sec after each round):
Bodyweight Squats – 15 reps
Push-Ups (on knees if needed) – 10–12 reps
Reverse Lunges – 10/side
Glute Bridge – 15 reps
Tricep Dips (using bed/chair) – 12 reps
Mountain Climbers – 30 sec
✅ Finisher (Optional – 5 min HIIT)
Do 20 sec work / 10 sec rest × 6 rounds:
Burpees OR jump squats
High knees
✨ Hotel Room / Vacation Band Finisher

Band-Resisted Squats – 3x15
Standing Row – 3x12 each side
Overhead Shoulder Press – 3x12

Donkey Kick with Band – 3x12 each leg
🔥 Optional: Repeat the full band circuit twice for a quick 10–12 min finisher.
